Bible study Tuesday's (July 11,2017)

God bless you ladies. How are each and everyone one of you doing? I have been studying the book of Isaiah lately and a particular verse struck me.

Bible book: And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Isaiah 8:19‭-‬20 KJV

Bible book: When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.

It stuck out to me because many people on here want to know if they will ever have a baby, if so then how many and what the sex will be. So they contact psychics, or they play all these little games where the tie there wedding ring to a string and hold it in front of their bellies, etc. And all of it no matter how minor or how much of a game it may seem is against God. We only suppose to seek God and lean on him for his answer. Never are suppose to turn to these pagan games or people who call themselves psychics or seers. We suppose to lean to the understanding of God at all times and wait on him. So I just thought I would share that with you ladies. God bless you all and I love you.
