Can 14 mm follicles mature enough over 24 hrs for IUI success?

Ariel

I went in for ultrasound yesterday on cd12 and had one follicle at 20 mm and one at 14 mm on the right and two follicles at 14 mm on the left and line at 9.2. The RE said he wanted me to wait to do trigger in the morning on cd13 and IUI on CD 14 to give the smaller follicles time to mature (my husband has low count and morphology and we've done 3 failed IUI's where I only had 1 follicle each). However, last night on CD 12 I had a positive OPK, I called the nurse who said to come in the next morning on cd 13 for IUI and that the three smaller follicles probably won't mature enough. I was pretty disappointed my LH surge was earlier than planned causing me to have just the one mature follicle again. This cycle I took dexamethasone cd 3-12, Femara cd 5-9, and menopur cd 10-11. Has anyone had success with this combo or similar situation? We didn't do a scan today to see if the smaller follicles grew before IUI... is there a chance one of the smaller follicles could have grown enough to mature since yesterday?
