Progesterone after IUI?

Question

I just had my first medicated IUI today and was prescribed progesterone suppositories to be takes three times a day for the TWW. (I should say I have had my Progesterone levels checked before and they are fine) Has anyone else done this? Any side effects or opinions on whether you think it made a difference?

This is normal for IUI and IVF. My progesterone levels were fine and they still had me on it until week 11. It helps support the pregnancy.

I was on this and my side effects were: hot flashes, bouts of nausea and lots of nasty discharge from the suppositories. Unfortunately it did not help us get pregnant, but it's supposed to build up your uterine lining to help baby implant and decreases miscarriage risk

I just got my results of my first iui today.  I was a fail.  I was prescribed 200mg progesterone once a day. It lengthen my cycle by 5 days which is good
My side effects are extreme Lower back pain.  I'm said for the bfn but I'm kinda glad to be off the progesterone for the next few weeks
