Weird misplaced ovaries

In February i had went to the hospital because of an extremely painful ovarian cyst but it had ruptured in the waiting room, the doctor who gave me my sonogram to look at my ovaries had said that my right ovary was missing. Of course me and my parents (im 17) were worried but suddenly she discovered that my right ovary which was the one that had the cyst on it was in the middle of my lower abdomen instead of to the right were it belongs and my left one was way too far almost in my side. Has anyone ever had this happen to thwm because to this day i dont have any answers of why they are misplaced and not in the right spot any help would be appreciated thank you
