Planned csection?

Question

How does a planned c section go? Both my previous children were born befor their due date. My son 10 days early n my daughter 7 days. I also walked in at 6cm diolated with no pin or signs! I know my doc said he doesn't want me to go through contractions and chance rupturing my old     Incision. 
I'm lost how this works? Won't see the csection doc till June n we are due in July!

They will probably ask how far along u were when u went into labor your previous pregnancies and go by that. It's usually 1-3 weeks before your due date that will schedule you. Mine were a week before but I've never gone into labor on my own! I'm 27 weeks and hoping they schedule me soon so I know when he will be here :)

with my planned vs 2 emergency before that I found everything much more relaxing ! healing process and everything was better , as for the hospital what they do is decide you're having one then your next appointment will be your pre op and consent to it all , baby will be here a week or 2 before you're due they will give you your date when you go x

Inhaven't had my hospital appointment yet but my GP just said that I tell the midwife at my first appointment I want a c-section & they'll make all the appropriate bookings for it. Baby should be here 2 weeks before due date :)
