I went to the doctor today, because I have been on my period for over a month now. She had told me that it was normal due to the fact that I just came off the depo shot 2 months ago.

I did tell her that I had some pain right before I started my period. So she wants to schedule a pelvic sonogram to see if there are any cysts.

She asked me if I was ttc, and before I got a word out of my mouth, She said "you aren't dumb bailey. You know if you have a kid then you probably won't finish school..." And so on.

I felt so hurt. I started crying right there in the doctors office. She then proceeded to ask me if things are going okay in my home life. I told her yes. Everything is fine (which it is fine).

I'm 20 years old, and married. I don't know what to do. I love that doctor. She's always been helpful. But she is so against me having kids before I finish my schooling.

I'm in a stable environment. I make enough money to pay my bills and I still have quite a bit left over. I'm in the RN program to become a nurse. I'm just so hurt.

Sorry that this was so long. I just needed to vent.
