Hormonal ingrown acne

Angel

Has any one tried something that really works,

I've tried clearasil, differing, toothpaste. I do wash my face.

Since they're ingrown, medicine on the outside doesn't get into the actual pimple deep down. I just need help getting rid of these ugly pimples that come at the worst times. I've gotten these since I was in my teen years, I'm now 22 and still have no cure, I've also been on birth control and that has no effect on it.

HELP PLEASE 😩

You can buy this at drugstores like CVS, and I'm pretty sure Walmart. It's a drawing salve! Read into it. It worked for my deep pimples I have trouble with.

I've never heard of that before. So glad I stumbled onto this thread or I never would've known. Not OP, but a very grateful girl lol

I hate them so much, but it good to know we're not the only ones going through it, and that other people have found secrets to help with it. 😊

ANYTHING by Mario Badescu. He works absolute wonders. Hs drying lotion rids my acne overnight. No joke. especially ingrowns, it'll give it a white head. I also highly recommend his rose water and aloe spray.

For some reason every once in a while I get one like that on my forehead, it'll be so deep and big it looks like I have a knot on my head lol. I usually squeeze it a ton for a couple days to bring it close to the surface and then when I can tell I've irritated it I take an extremely hot wash cloth and keep wetting it with hot water and placing it on there for about a minute or so. Then when I squeeze it it comes right out even when it seems like it never will because of how deep it is. Then I clean my face really well while it heals and I won't see it again for a long time 😀 Sorry that was a lot lol.

lol I know I do this too, but I hate squeezing it days at a time, and having that open scab on top of the knot on your face. I figure there has got to be a better way. 🤔

Proactive!! It's expensive but it has help TREMENDOUSLY with my acne, even all my hormonal acne! I have the mask and it worked wonders on a pimple that I had that was quite similar to what you have going on. However, of you have really dry skin, I wouldn't recommend it since it's drying. Hope this helps 😊

I have a prescription called epiduo from my dermatologist.... I've suffered cystic acne for all my teen and adult life ( I'm 29) you'd think this shit would end! But it's helped minimized it to nothing in 2 days... get to a derm and ask her for it

Try Benzoyl Peroxide cream. You rub a little over the area and it dries it out. I use it on my face when I get what you have but also used it in my chest when I broke out really bad during my first trimester and it works good. I have sensitive skin and this didn't irritate it at all

I had Cystic acne real bad and had been to every person I could imagine. I was getting real fed up. It was even interfering into my relationship because it hurt to touch my face and my boyfriend knew I hated looking at my face. I felt like a monster. Luckily I found a dermatologist that told me to get selsum or head and shoulders and wash my face with that then wash it 2 days a week with clearasil. it worked!!! It's something to try?

Definitely, would've never figured head and shoulders for the face. I debate seeing a dermatologist too but don't want them to put me on pills to solve the problem. I will most definitely try this out!

CUROLOGY. This is seriously the best acne medicine I've ever had. It works really well on deep acne. Go to curology.com and check it out. Your first bottle is free!

It's different for everyone. When you log on, you talk to a dermatologist who makes a formula for your specific skin type. Sometimes it can break out. With me, my blackheads and white heads went away within about two weeks. I still got cystic acne, so I told my dermatologist and she changed the formula. Sometimes the first one works perfectly, sometimes it needs adjusting. Check out their website or message them, there's a lot of good information there.

Is this product going to start like other face products where it makes you break out first before your face clears up??🤔

Try The Original AHA. Apply a small amount with a qtip to the area & a little bit around it until you see no redness
