Glass bottles?

I'm trying to decide which bottles to get: glass or plastic. Please help!

I uses avent glass bottles and loved them! Plastic really holds the smell, especially if you don't wash them right away, and they start to get discoloured and gross, not to mention all the chemicals they're packed with that do leak into the liquid. I don't use plastic anything in my kitchen! Our bottles were literally hucked across the room by our 1 year old, and I haven't had a single one break. They're so much more durable than you would think! I primarily breastfed for the first 6 months, so by the time we needed them, she was only taking a few bottles a day, so I only bought 3 and never needed to sterilize. We warmed them by placing them in a sink full of hot water for a couple minutes. I just hand washed them after use and put them on a towel to dry until they were needed again. I definitely consider them an investment since I'll be able to use them for future babies as well!

I am planning on using glass bottles. I don't feel like plastic is safe due to the fact that chemicals in the plastic can leech into any food or beverage. We don't use any plastic dishes in our house, so my baby won't be using any either.

Personally i don't like the idea of glass around any baby or child for the risk of breaking and if dropped they can be heavy. For this reason i prefer plastic ones. I tried every bottle going and swear by MAMS anti colic self sterilising bottles. Easy to clean assemble and microwave for 3 mins done leave to cool few minutes bam theres your bottle. No need for steriliser.

We switched to glass around 2 months and wouldn't go back. I don't use plastic when I drink, why would I use it for my baby anyway? We warm her bottles in warm/hot water so we've had no issues. They get washed in the dishwasher and don't melt or anything lol. They're also super sturdy- I've dropped them multiple times even on a concrete porch and they're still perfect. I bought some silicone covers for them, but those are more of a pain than just glass haha.

I used glass bottles with my son and they were great!
Reasons I loved them:
They are so much better than plastic! They clean much easier and aren't full of chemicals. 
They didn't feel much heavier than plastic bottles, I never noticed a difference of weight in the diaper bag. 
I dropped them all the time and they never broke. 
My son never had a problem holding them himself. 
I always heated up a bowl of water in the microwave and then put the bottle in there to warm up that way the bottle didn't get too hot like it would in a bottle warmer.

I actually decided to get the playtex ones with the liner drop ins so I don't have to stress about them getting discolored or stinky. my mom used them for my younger brother and loved them and suggested them for me too. I haven't used them yet since I'm due in August but I have heard great things about them.

I bought glass bottles and my little one is now over a year and has never taken a bottle. Mommy is his only bottle.

I wanted to do glass but I would have probably dropped them and for the price I would have been mad if I did. I got avent and they worn just fine.

I was given glass bottles as a gift, I dont think I'll use them until the baby is much bigger. It just seems very heavy and likely to hurt the baby. And as was pointed out, I feel warming it could be bad. But I've never actually used them, I'm still pregnant! So I could be wrong.
