Breastfeeding and Nipple Piercings

I've been interested in getting my nipples pierced but I've been concerned if it will affect breastfeeding when I have children one day? Are there any mothers on here who've had their nipples pierced and breastfed their babies still? I'm sorry for such an awkward question 😅
