TTC with irregular periods

For those with irregular periods. How do you not get your hopes up every month or even know when to test or stop testing? Some times I feel like I'd rather just start my period because I've gotten my hopes up so much and at least at that point I know for sure that I'm not pregnant and can try again the next cycle.

I have PCOS, and have spent the past year and a half trying to naturally regulate myself. First things first, really make sure you are active and eating to nourish your body! Drink lots of water, and get enough sleep. And I swear, things automatically got more regular once I started taking prenatals. It was the strangest thing!I was able to track my hormone levels with bbt tracking and cm. When your cm gets looser and more abundant, break out the OPKs! I hope that helped. Once upon a time, my cycles were 200 days and I had to use provera to help get me on track!

Haven't had a period in 10 months and I'm constantly surging so its impossible to see when I ovulate. We have sex every other day or my husband jacks off and cums inside of me. We don't think about it and we don't discuss children at all. We've have too many miscarriages to get our hopes up. When I experience my typical pregnancy symptoms I go on a testing frenzy but I don't test until I completely convince myself that it won't be positive so that I don't get my hopes up. You just have to convince yourself that there's no hope otherwise.....the pain will be unbearable.

My periods are all over the place it get them like twice a year. When we found out we were pregnant we were shocked since It was around the normal time I had periods. We lost the baby after only knowing she existed for a week and she has been there for a bit. We decided we're going to test once a month to just double check
