If I'm on a BUDGET which should I do right now?

I can only afford one right now. To fix my horrible credit with an A credit business and have had friends who vouched for this company, for $249. Or should I get a secured card to help build credit 1st and put $200 down on it? The problem is the secured card wont come for like 2 weeks?

Never pay someone to "fix " you're credit . That's not how it works.

I agree with the above👆🏾. Anything they claim they can do to help you, you can do yourself because they can't legally change anything on your credit report unless it has inaccurate info on it. Get a credit card make payments on time and make extra payments. Building credit back up just takes time because they they base it off so many different factors like the highest credit card limit you have, how long it's been open, how many on time payments you've made, but at least you can save your money while you do it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

You can't fix your credit over night. Get a copy of your credit report or go to credit karma and figure out what is hurting your credit. Try to fix those things. Dispute anything on your credit report that you believe they can't verify. If they can't verify it, then it has to be removed. That will help. After I went through and fixed all the "bad" marks on my credit report, I got a secure credit card with a $200 limit. I rarely used it, just enough to show it was used and then paid the balance off every month. It took almost two years, but my credit score went up almost 200 points. Don't pay someone to fix your credit. You can fix it.

No one can fix your credit except for you. Don't ever pay anyone to "fix" your credit because that's in your hands either way. You'll just be wasting the money. Use the $200+ to get a secured credit card. That's the only way to build/repair credit. Do that, and any bills you have, pay on time and in full if possible! Don't just pay minimum amounts. If you can't afford something don't use the credit card. Use it strictly for everyday living expenses that you'd spend with cash otherwise, and then immediately pay it off in full each month.

No company can fix your credit. That is a waste of money and a scam. If you have bad credit because you were late paying or didn't pay there is no way a company can fix that. Now if you have things that shouldn't be on your credit report all you need to do is contact the credit company and put in a dispute. If the person reporting doesn't respond I think after 30 days it will be removed from your credit report. Just keep trying to pay stuff on time. That will help your credit over time. Unfortunately there is no quick fix when it come to credit.

Sounds like a scam, if you ask me. Don't fall for it. They can't fix your credit for 250 dollars. You need to call and get a copy of your credit report to find out what's all on there. Then, you can start paying those creditors off a little at the time. It may take years to pay them off however, in the meantime you need to look into opening up a line of credit. I'm not sure a secure credit card would work, because those are the ones you have to reload, right?  That's like having a debit card, or a gift card and that's not going to fix your credit. No, you need to try to apply for an actual credit card. Maybe one from Walmart, or something. Keep the balance low, and pay it off each month. If you're approved, your credit limit may be a hundred. Spend 25 the first month and then pay it off before or on the due date the next month. Do this for about 6 months straight, and you're credit score will start improving. Just remember to always keep your credit balances low and pay them off each month. After a while, maybe you can open another line of credit. Do the same thing with that card. But, keep your balance low and pay it off the next month. But, that's  ultimately how you're going to be able to really bring your credit score up. By having atleast one or two cards, and paying them off every single time, while slowly eradicating all your other debts. You can contact all your creditors and debtors and try to set up payment plans. I reccomend taking care of one at a time! Start with the lowest ones first!  If you can go ahead and start paying each one of those off, then do it. But, the more expensive ones, you may need to make payment arrangements, or ask them if they'd be interested in settling with you. Like if you owe 200 for an unpaid doctors bill; ask them if they can settle with you for a hundred, if you pay that amount in full today! A lot of them will do that!

You can always get a starter loan. It would help pay off some things, and you can see if everything on your credit is your debt with credit karma. If you think you can dispute some stuff they would remove it.

Do a secure card and star slowly. If your credit is bad you shouldn't keep going into debt. The secure card will help you. The only way to get your credit better is paying for the things you already owe and using a small amount of credit
