Home birth/birth center moms! Did your birthing class help?

Question

I'm planning a home birth and my midwife told me that most mom who don't take a birthing class end up transferring to the hospital. Did you take a birthing class? Did you enjoy It? Did you hate It? Did you feel like it was useful? I would love to hear experiences from other home birth/birth center moms.

I took a Bradley class and LOVED it. I had a great natural birth and I plan on doing it again with #2 :)

Bradley class!! And lots of additional reading. I highly suggest Ina Mays guide to child birth and Birthing without fear. 
I suggest Bradley because it's focus is on educating about the birthing process and it does that incredibly well. The whole idea is that knowledge reduces fear and reducing fear reduces pain. Having a good knowledge base about all aspects of birth also keeps you in control and aware of your options. 
I've had 2 home births, 2 hospital. If we are able to have more they will be home births as well.

I am having a birth center birth but this will be my second baby. I had my first daughter in the hospital and took a birthing class unfortunately I was bed bound because of high blood pressure. So hoping things go way differently this time around but I will not be doing a class just reading some books for inspiration
