Mini pill how effective it is?

I was wondering if anyone out there is on the mini pill while not breastfeeding anymore? I am on the mini pill but I stop breastfeeding 8 months ago and lately I been taking it at different times, however I keep it within a 3 hour window. Does anyone know how effective it is?

I was on the minipill for 10yrs & never got pregnant. But then I also took it at the same time every day. I recently came off it & my cycle went right back to its normal 28 days without issue.

My dr told me when I was done breastfeeding to go on the pill pill because the mini pill is not really affective
