I think it's insane that so many people tan their skin but don't consider it body dysmorphia. I don't hate my skin color or the ethnicity that comes along with it and I certainly don't care for skin cancer.

I love tanning, I have bad acne so it really helps my skin. Don't go more then every other day and if you burn give yourself.3-5 to heal. It's not like a normal sunburn you will only damage your skin not tan better.

I watched someone die from stage 4 melanoma. I would stay away from tanning beds, it's concentrated sun-light. Imagine taking a whole pack of cigarettes and putting it into one. And if you're really adamant on tanning then please be sure to get a full body scan at the dermatologist at least once a year.

I never have, I personally sun bathe in my backyard. I don't have anything against tanning beds it's just I don't want to pay money to get a tan I guess? Lol

A couple of springs breaks my mom and I would go to Florida and we would go in the tanning bed once or twice before going. My mom said if you have a small tan before going you less likely to burn. Idk if it's true or not but I never got a sun burn lol
