yeast infection of bv? PLEASE HELP

okay, so my understanding is that the symptoms of bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections are the same, the discharge is what makes it different. so have been having extreme unbearable itching, so i went to the doctor and she was just like "do it itches you? yeah you have a yeast infection" without looking at me or testing me or anything. so i took the medication for it she prescribed. my question is, does this look like a yeast infection, or bv? ignore the brown, that's just a stain.

To me, that looks more like BV. I would schedule an appointment with your doctor when you can. Demand to have a BV screening and treatment accordingly. 
I know it may seem like the doctor brushed you off, but BV and Yeast Infection can present the same at the early stages. 
You could either just be entering the BV or coming to the end of it. It always best to be tested as soon as possible.

I've had maybe 3 yeast infections in my life & I never had discharge like that on my underwear. Maybe you should go back to the doctor

So my doctor told me it’s the smell that’s different. Does is smell bad? Like fishy bad? That would be BV. My yeast infection looked like that but there wasn’t much of a smell. I would tell you it smells “yeasty” but that didn’t help me because i didn’t know what yeast smelled like😂 now i know.

I have had a yeast infection with discharge like that before so I would say yeast infection.  Never had bv though so I wouldn't really know what that would look like

Honestly it could be anything, yellow in color and foul smell is a sign of an STD I’d name an appointment to go be seen because it could be BV a yeast infection or Something Else. Over the counter medication doesn’t work as fast and that well.

I’d say yeast infection as I had a routine smear test done a few years ago and they called to say I had BV and I hadn’t even known. It was nothing like what you are experiencing so I would definitely say yeast infection.
