Moms that have had a natural birth, would you do it again?

Was it worth it? How bad was the pain?

I am pregnant with my first. 
But I think of this a lot. There really is no good way to get that baby out. Vaginally can be painful and there's tearing and all that. C-section requires opening your abdominal wall! OMG. Think about that a second. Filleting a sheet of muscles to go through it. 
No good choices. 😭😭

My first son was induced, I had a smooth,  easy, quick labor and delivery and had my epidural just as the contractions kicked up. My second son I barely made it to the hospital (cause they kept sending me home) and I had no choice but to deliver him naturally and I was so out of it that when the nurses tried to put him on my chest for skin to skin I told them I needed a moment to recover. My mom said I looked like a deer in headlights. The only plus side to going natural was that I was able to get up and walk to the bathroom and shower by myself 2 hrs after he was born. I didn't get up with my first son until 5 or 6 hours after he was born and my husband assisted me in the shower and to go to the bathroom. But I don't want to go through that pain again. I'll take the slightly longer recovery and pain free L&D.;

It was so worth it. I was in labor for 30 hours. I pushed for less than an hour. I went to the hospital when I was 6 cm dilated. 
The part that was painful was the transition stage. I felt like I had to push but they wouldn't let me because I was 9.5 cm and had an anterior cervical lip. It was so painful. It didn't last long though. 
Pushing feels relieving. It's very tiring and when the baby moves down and is almost out, it kinda burns and hurts but only lasts a minute or so. 
When my son came out, I forgot about the pain. My recovery has been great too.

I just had my first baby in December of 2016, I had a non medicated home birth. I wouldnt do it any other way, obviously the labor was hard  (because it's labor) but I was free to do what I wanted(never did I have to lay down). I was in labor for 10 hours with 20min of pushing,( I squatted), when she finally came I had skin to skin for 2 hours and after that I got up and took a shower.. I am definitely doing a non medicated home birth again next time!

My whole labor was only 8 hours. Showed up at the hospital, gave birth about an hour later. It hurt like hell, but I'm trying for an all natural birth again.  Totally worth it. But I know if I can't handle the pain, or if my labor isn't as fast/ progressive as it was last time, it's still okay to get the epidural. But honestly I'm more terrified of life long back issues than how bad it's going to hurt during labor.

Absolutely, it was amazing and so empowering! I was so proud of myself because I was so calm even during a hospital transfer where I felt like pushing the whole time... even though I had a lot of bleeding during labour I stayed calm and me and my baby were fine! I definitely want to try to stay at the birth centre next time or have a home birth.

With my first, i had pitocin and an epidural. It was rough. With my second, it was all natural. Natural labor and no pain medication and it was the best, 100% do it again naturally. 
My biggest problem was that i did know how to push with an epidural and i couldnt feel anything so it took 2 hours of pushing. With my second, i bounce on a yoga ball until *I felt like it was time to push and it took less than 5 minutes.

My first I wound up getting an epidural but it slowed things down a bit. My second I wasn't going to then I was. .the contractions themselves were no peach but pushing was a relief. My 2nd also got stuck and I had to really listen to my body and Dr to get him out safely which I could not have done if I hadn't been able to feel it all. I was also up and moving around within an hour or 2 and felt 10x better then after my first with the epidural
