White To A Funeral?

My grandma passed last Friday on the 20th..
And her funeral is this coming Friday. 
The dress code is " Something Red " whether it's a dress , bow , scarf. ( my gmas favorite color )
But would A white dress with something red be appropriate for a funeral?  Bad luck?

I wore jeans, boots and a shirt to my grandpa's funeral. He wanted us to spend the day shooting in his honor, it was his favorite hobby and something he taught us all. He even had his ashes put into bullets so he could be shot down range! Everyone has different wishes. Just do that whatever way you feel is best.

Anyway, I wouldn't wear white. Not bad luck, and maybe I'm just old school, but it would be rude where I'm at. The black/dark colors are a sign of respect and mourning.

White used to be the color for funerals,  but cant remember how or why that changed.  Tho it's still traditional to wear white at funerals in some Asian countries.  I think you should gi for it

My great grand-father HATED black clothes, so nobody wore that colour for his funeral, and it was great that way. 
It really is no big deal, and I think it's great you want to go with your own choice.
As long as it has no cleavage and it's not too short, no problem. It's not neon pink lol.
