What is it like to go through a Cesarean?

It is painful afterwards. I cried when I peed and pooped because you have to use those muscles where your incision is.

I had 2 vaginal births and 1 c section. The surgery itself was easy and painless, but the recovery was just awful. I was popping pain pills constantly for 10 days and couldn't lay down flat or get up from bed without help for days. Definitely only get it if it's medically necessary.

For me the worst part was when they placed the spinal. I also wasn't thrilled about the first 💩, but I made it through. I slept on a recliner and held my abdomen if I got up or sneezed.

Recovery was extremely painful for me, even with pain killers I couldn't lay down flat for a while and I needed help getting up and getting dressed 😐

I have had both vaginal and schedule c-section. My experience with c-section was bad at all actually I prefer it! I felt great going in no pain like when your in labor no waiting around to dilate. The surgery is alil scary just cuz it's surgery but nothing to crazy. In recovery two hours then I felt good enough to visit with family and my new baby! Vaginal birth I felt like some hit me with a semi truck then backed up over me ! I didn't want to see anyone. The c-section healing at home was uncomfortable but me personally I didn't have to take heavy pain killers after the first week I was better . You need to force your self to walk around so you dnt get stiff and slow recovery.
