HGC 73 at 6 weeks?

Question

I'm 6+2 and started cramping and spotting yesterday. My doctor ran HGC yesterday and it was a 73. I retest tomorrow to check for doubling. 
I'm reading that 73 is very very low for 6 weeks. 
Does anyone have advice? Personal experiences? I'm feeling pretty alone.

Everyone is different hopefully it has doubled

Levels dropped by more than 50% over 48 hours at 6 weeks. Down into the 30s. Medically confirmed miscarriage. 
We're taking a break and trying again in the fall. Thanks for the support.

My hcg came back at 40 or low 40's which is low for hcg at 4 weeks . I've read mixed reviews on it xx
