IUD vs. Implant

I had my son 4 months ago. Now I'm ready to go on birth control but I'm having trouble looking for a good one. I've been on the implant for 3 years and I loved it, I had no period/problems. I'm looking into the IUD but my friends have mixed stories, one girl had lost it in her and had to have it surgically removed and my other girl told me her and her bf can feel it during sex. I'm a heavy girl and trying not to gain anymore weight or have bad periods.
