So my due date was June 23, 2017 and as it got closer to the date i had no signs of labor. On June 19th i had an ob appt and my doctor told me that if i went pass my due date to come back on the 26th so that he can check me.

So here it was, the 26th, and still no signs of labor, so my doctor sent me to the hospital to be induced and i was honestly scared because a lot of people had bad induction stories.

Me and my boyfriend get to the hospital and the put the iv in and start the pitocin, the contractions didnt start immediately but when they did come they weren't bad at all. When i got to 4cm they let me get the epidural because at that point the contractions were getting more intense. I was scared to get it because i thought it would hurt but it didnt and as soon as the epidural kicked in i was able to sleep till it was time to push.

A nurse came in to check me and she said I was 10cm already so in came a team of nurses and my doctor and it was time to push, I pushed for about 15 minutes and out came my son on June 27th at 1:20pm

He weighed 7lbs 15ounces and was 21in

My labor was maybe 19 hours.
