dont give up!

Hi!😀

I know that the title of this post is a bit overwhelming but I wanted to share a bit of inspiration for all of my fellow women trying to get that BFP.

I have been married for almost 5 years to my very supportive and wonderful wife. Over the course of the last 3 years we have actively been trying to get pregnant. I have been through 4 IUI cycles, over 17 ICI inseminations, switched sperm Banks four times and had one IVF. Lol and through it all it was the IVF that is giving us our BFP and in March 2019 we are expecting a beautiful healthy baby.

I wanted to tell you all out there that are trying to be patient. I know that sounds like an over played record but I'm serious. There were many months when we tried and the stress from the procedures took a big toll on us as a couple and us as individuals. I know that it can be disappointing but if it's not your month it's not your month. keep hope and try again.

For those going through an IVF or considering it, stay hopeful. It can be a very stressful time or you can make it a very relaxing time. When we did ours, we did it in Washington and we took advantage of the time to have a small baby vacation. It helped alot. Mainly because of all of the medicine I was taking. it made me feel overwhelmed and alone but I reminded myself that despite what happened it was going to be ok.

I also had a lot of hiccups with my IVF. My doctor told me they had seen 23 good mature follicles and when I did my egg retrieval they only got 7. Then only 5 were normal and out of that 3 fertilized and only one made it. I was definitely expecting a better out come but at the same time you have to remember that you can't control biology. it has a plan of its own.
