Self weaned at 22 months while pregnant with my 2nd. One day he said, "Tongue! Nasty!" and tried to wipe his tongue with his hands 😂 ...and that was the end of that.

My son is almost 6 months. My first goal was 1 month because I wasn't able to breastfeed my daughter (now 6). My 2nd goal is 6 months and we're almost there! I'm planning on breastfeeding him until he self-weans. Whether that's 1 year or 2 years. I ultimately want to make it to 2 years but if he wants to go longer, then we'll do it!

5 months and between a growth spurt and losing my supply just couldn't mentally do it anymore. Everyone is much happier now. :)

We have made it to 6 months exclusively pumping and hope to make it to 12 months

My goal is to make it to a year. Hopefully close to 2 years. I am proud we have made it this far though. With my other 2, they only got a few weeks before I gave up.

Once my LO can have cow's milk I will start to wean. No sense in spending all that money on formula when I can make it myself and know she is getting exactly what she needs!

My original goal was when he got teeth but he's been teething for a while now and his teeth haven't poked through but his gums are strong as hell and he will bite down with all of his might on my nipple. 😒 I've survived that so I'm thinking until he self weans. I love the bonding and with me working full time I love that I still have something that he can only get from me. Still our special little thing.

Only made it 4 weeks. Had to stop for medical reasons and I'm still heartbroken about it.
