Throwing up even if your tummy is empty??

I will not have anything in my stomach and get up in the morning and be nauseous and throw up anyway 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yes!! Don't let your stomach be empty ever, literally. And don't drink water on an empty stomach. K used to carry a sleeve of saltines with me everywhere and I go through a big box a week, they were life savers cause they soak up the bile and keep you from puking. Also sour hard lemon candy, and ginger chews help a lot with nausea.

I threw up from 7 weeks all the way until 17 weeks every morning with an empty stomach . Brushing my teeth would trigger it a lot and so would taking hot baths .

Gah yes 😩 most of my "morning sickness aka all day sickness" had been me gagging and heaving leaving my chest and stomach killing me but not actaully  having anything to throw up. Its horrible :( and the worst feeling ever. Im 10 wks now and it seems to be easing off a little fingers crossed. Hope you feeling better soon thats a miserable feeling

I just got out of the hospital for this reason! I puked for 13 hours with no food in my stomach. Straight bile coming out of me. It took 2 ivs to get me back to normal after all of that. Make sure you call your ob if it gets bad!

Keep saltines by the bed and eat a couple before you even get up. I kept things super bland for a lot of my first trimester. I definitely felt sick all the time. B6 helped a little too. Peppermints also helped settle my stomach a lot of the time. Good luck mama - it'll pass! (I'm now 20 weeks and only have certain foods that make me nauseous)

For my first 16 weeks I'd throw up everything from my prenatals to water. If it's unbearable, ask your OB to prescribe you something.

I throw up most on an empty stomach!  Def don't get that far. Keep eating something, anything no matter what.

I do this on a daily basis. I go to an infusion center 3x a week to get fluids and nutrients and have been for the last three weeks due to me losing 15 lbs in a week.  I have been poked so many times with needles I think I have lost count. I thank god they are able to give me nutrients because that's the only thing keeping this baby alive because of being unable to eat or drink anything. I can't wait for the nausea and sickness to be over with. I'm getting tired of laying in my bed.

happened with me just either choking from gagging or acid from my tummy. heaven forbid I drink water because that will be back up and it feels like drowing
