Back pain a sign of labor??

Question

I have been having severe back back since last night. It's right in the middle of my back - not lower. Could that be a sign of labor or only if it was lower pain?  I do have an apt with my OB this afternoon and I will see what he says as well

I've been having back pain for almost a week, but the contractions don't hurt. What hurts is that back pain. I have an appointment on Monday I'll see what the doctor says after she checks my cervix. I'm always telling my body that it better be doing something and that all this pain is for nothing 😩

Back labour is a thing!! For all of early labour i could only feel the contractions in my back. My stomach would tighten (contraction) and my back would KILL me. When it got closer to "the time" i started feeling them in the front.
