I'm starting the pill soon, any advice?

I'm 15 and I'm about to go on the pill. Is there any advice anyone can give me? Something that I may not know.

You can gain weight, have mood swings, it may make you feel weird. I've been on the pill twice depo an the nuvaring. An if you feel like something isn't right when taking it take to your doctor. An if you don't wanna get pregnant take it everyday at the time time or around the same time.

It's not effective right away. Depending on the prescription it might not be effective for atleast a week. Could be more. Ask your dr. Use a condom until then

Easiest way to remember to take the pill is to set an alarm on your phone day right after dinner time (5-9pm) and have it repeat everyday forever and you will never forget and have to worry.
