Always hungry?! Help!

Since I started my diet a week ago I have only ate fruits, veggies, eggs, chicken/turkey. I use to eat a lot of anything. This morning I had scrambled eggs and a little ketchup, and a banana. For lunch I had homemade beef and broccoli. All portioned. but my stomach still growls and I feel so hungry like I haven't ate anything. why is this happening?? how can I stop it??
