Should your husband just work or have to help w the house and kids?

Okay I'm asking because my husband works, and then comes home and sleeps. He doesn't spend time w kids or help around the House like dinner bedtime showers cleaning etc Than he'll get up at their bedtime n be up late...He got off early today (3pm, he normally works til 6pm or later) he just went straight to sleep. Should I be upset or is him working enough ? He says he works in the heat and it takes it out of him, but I am exhausted after being a house wife all day w 3 kids and pregnant. my husband has high expectations of what should be done while he's at work..Maybe I'm just hormonal but it's a bit frustrating because I would love some extra sleep 😵😵😪😪
