My water first broke at 3:45 in the early hours of the morning of June 17th. I wake up my boyfriend and call labour and delivery, and tell them my water has maybe been broken and I'm feeling pains(was in the hospital past 4 days in crippling pain before having contractions but they just sent me home 😒). I get to the hospital and nothing is progressing.. they did a check on me every hour to see if I was dilating at all. After what felt like an eternity I'm finally slowly progressed enough to get the epidural and that was about 4 pm.. (over 12 hours later). Suddenly, LOs heart started to go haywire.. all the way up to almost 190 so I was told that I needed to have an emergency c-section.. luckily my mom just got there before they took me to surgery. She comes in the room and I was instantly in tears which made her cry. They then wheel me off and down to the OR, where I'm told that boyfriend is suiting up to come in the surgery. I was told after that, that I was to be put out so they could get him out as soon as possible so Tyson wasn't allowed in the room with me. I'm then put to sleep.

About 3 hours later I wake up in recovery, with tubes and wires all over me. I'm then taken up to my room where I finally met my baby boy.

Hayden Alexander Lee Deforest was born at 6:44 pm weighing 7 pounds and 7 oz. and was exactly 1 week early.

This was the first picture that was taken of us together.

And now almost a month later, he looks like his daddy and is 100% a daddy's boy and I wouldn't have it any other way. 💞💞
