Was the heart rate theory right for you?

Just curious, those that have had other children, was the theory of a higher heart rate = girl correct for you?

Babies hr at 9w1d was 176 now at 10w5d it is 165

My first (our daughter) was 157 at our first visit. This one was 173 at 9 weeks. We'll obviously be thrilled with another girl, but this will probably be our last child and we've both got our fingers crossed for a boy this time!

It was not right for my first two children.  High heart rates, but boys.  The heart rate on my US today was 169.  I am convinced we are having another boy.

I'm curious about that too! My feeling is a boy (ivf tips the odds) but the heart rate was 176. Would secretly be happy if it's a girl :)

My sons heart rate was consistently quite high... Once we found out it was a boy, my dr kept telling me to get whatever rest I could, cause I'd get none once he was here... He was right 😉

This pregnancy, it was 158 at the first appt, we will see tomorrow... I'd love a girl, but hubby's genes and whatnot, I'm definitely not getting my hopes up
