Her umbilical cord came off a few days ago (first picture) and a little piece was still there. Well tonight I was doing skin to skin breast feeding (her tummy facing me) when I laid her down I noticed some of the left over was pulled off (second picture). Does this look okay? She'll be two weeks old on Sunday and we have an appointment with the pediatrician on Monday morning. Should I try to get it looked at tomorrow or is this normal? First time mommy, nervous wreck about everything!

The second picture is with flash. Not sure if it makes it seem more gooey than it is.
