Can thyroid problems cause cramps?
Well after 4 weeks of what i swear were very faint positive hpts, tons of pregnancy symptoms, and a wacky period, I finally went to the doctor. Urine test was negative for pregnancy and he drew blood to test my thyroid but not to see if there is any hcg. He did a very quick pelvic exam and said that it "looks normal and doesn't feel any enlarged ovaries." I understand that a thyroid problem can cause all of my other symptoms, but I am still getting some crampy feelings on either side of my lower abdomen. Should I look into getting an ultrasound done to look for cysts anyway or just wait for the blood tests for my thyroid? My doctor really didn't give me any answers and I just want to know what's happening with my body. 😭 Has anyone had any similar experiences?
