working until delivery?

Question

Any twin mommas still working in an office or similar setting up until delivery?  If not, what week did you stop?  I noticed from week 20 to 24, the commute, sitting at a desk all day etc. has started to get more uncomfortable. I'm having a hard time imagining making it up until the end. But I don't want to cut into my maternity leave early 🙁.   At my job in NY, the FMLA clock starts whenever you stop working, regardless of whether they are here yet.

I work in an office and am going to try to work up until delivery too. I'm 23 weeks with twins now. As long as I get up often, it's still manageable. I'm not sure what it'll be like in those last weeks though. I'm hoping if I get too huge, maybe my boss will let me work from home the last week or two, rather than start my leave (I'd rather have that time with my babies!). No sense in me just sitting around at home doing nothing but if I could skip the commute and stay in sweatpants, that would be great 😉

I'm 28w currently and am planning to work right until delivery. With my daughter, I worked right up until the day my water broke (10pm after a day of work). I work for an insurance company in their IT department so a desk job and can work from home and flex hours. my pregnancy hasn't felt drasticly different from my daughter yet (fully aware that could change over the next 8 weeks). I have only gained 17 lbs and really the only symptoms are heartburn and fatigue (which could be more related to my two year old). so based on how i feel my doctor supports me working until but has said most twin moms stop working a few weeks beforehand. with that all said, it's all based on how i feel. if that changes or the doctor tells me I need to, I'm fine with going out beforehand and plan to work with my employer about still taking 12 weeks after birth and them supporting that regardless of federal law minimums.

I teach so I was off this summer but we go back August 3.... I plan on working until the day that I deliver

I work in an office. I'm planning on working until two days before my scheduled c section at 39w6d unless I go into labor first. I have a deadline I'm trying to make, otherwise, I would probably take off a week before. It has been hard though. I'm very tired and uncomfortable (I'm 35 weeks today).

I'm 31wks5days with mono/di twin boys. I work in a office setting and plan on working  as long as I can. I have 3 weeks before the scheduled tentative delivery date. Some days are really uncomfortable but I just keep pushing and knowing it will all be worth it.

I wanted to and was planning on working through the 30th week. Now I'm on a bed rest :-/
I worked as an instructor for young professionals, so not as taxing as running after kids. But apparently just 2 weeks back at work and the increase in activity (more like increase in time being upright) caused my cervix to start shortening, and the doctor said it was enough.
It's annoying and frustrating, not only did I lose the income from the next 2 months (I'm an independent contractor, so no paid leaves for me), but I also lost the nice distraction from all my worries. The cervix wasn't even that short, it's the dynamic that concerned the doctor. After a week on bed rest I regained some of the cervix length, but I'm not off the bed rest. And I'm at peace with it now - better safe than sorry, we want to cook these babies for as long as possible!
I guess what I'm trying to say is that you should be prepared for an unknown and unforeseen. I had zero indications that this will happen, I still feel that I would be perfectly fine in the classroom. But the weight of two babies turned out to be too much for my cervix.

I'm planning to work till a week before delivery date, but I can work from home up to 4 days a week which makes a huuuuge difference. If I had to work 5 days a week at the office I doubt I'd have made it this far - 32 weeks
