Male bridesmaids?

People are telling me that having male bridesmaids are tacky. They also say that having two men walk down the aisle won't look good in pictures because my fiancé will have his best man and groomsmen and I would have a male bridal party too. I do not have ANY female friends. I do not have any close female cousins. Nor do I have any sisters. I am the ONLY girl and I have brothers, so I wanted all of them to be a part of my big day. It would be even, four of my fiancé's groomsmen and I have 4 brothers who I am close with. Should I just stick to having no one? People are getting mad at me and think I'm being selfish and want to be the only women at the center of attention at my wedding and pictures.
