I see a lot of people all over the internet who say they were conceived or they conceived their child even while using birth control effectively (condom, pill, IUD, shot, etc). I understand there's that "chance," but you don't just get pregnant because you have sex. Sperm and an egg have to meet and the sperm must fertilize the egg... It just annoys me and I think causes a lot of confusion for women who are not TTC (or even TTC). Like if you use a condom or the pill or whatever, and it's used correctly, then you won't get pregnant... This is definitely a topic up for debate, but in my opinion, there has to be some factor that causes a woman to get pregnant even after using protection. Maybe the pill wasn't taken correctly or your body may not work well with the pill, the condom broke, etc.... But you don't just have sex and get pregnant like magic.
