I hate my hot water system when it runs out of hot water.  I hate my job when I get my roster and I'm working way more than I was told.  Small, intimate things, yes,  but I try not to throw the word around when it comes to people I know.

I haven't said that in years. The last time I was very young- around maybe 9 years old of not younger and I said I hate you to my parents for some reason I can't remember. I just remember my dad coming into my room and saying 'well I don't hate you'. Then he wouldn't leave until we talked and everything was ok again. I realized how hurtful the word hate can be so I was pretty careful about saying it after that. No matter how mad I got even at my siblings I'd just shut down and ignore people over saying things you can't take back.
