How hard is the transition from one to two kids?

Especially if one of them is under the age of 5? My SO and I are thinking of having another within the next few years (our daughter is one and a half) and wondering how hard it is from taking care of one child to taking care of two?

My second was SOO much easier than my first. Sleeps well...eats well.. more relaxed..so the transition was not difficult at all. The only thing is we had finally gotten to the age with our 2 year old where he didn't require constant attention and you could get stuff done around the house but now with an infant it's back to constant supervision but I guess that only lasts for about a year ..or less than since the first couple of months they sleep.

Omg the second was much easier for me. I got pregnant when my daughter was 18 months and waking up for night feeds and adjusting we're so easy (don't get me wrong we had a few rough nights) but that's just how it Is when you have a baby. There's pros and cons to both waiting till your first is older and having them 2 years apart but if you wait too long i heard people say it's like your starting over and have to re adjust To baby life again

The transition from 1 child to 2 children is the most difficult. I had to relearn to how manage my time. Part of the difficulty was always being busy - rarely were their opportunities to "rest when my baby rests" because their schedules didn't always coincide. I aimed for that, and some days it worked - but my oldest was 3 when my middle child was born and was transitioning out of needing naps during the day. Learning how to get things accomplished (i.e. grocery shopping) was a challenge for a little while, but I was a pro in no time. 
The transition from 2 to 3 children was much easier, partly because I know how to manage my time now, and partly because my oldest is now 7 and not only independent but also able to help me.

going from one kid to 2 was the hardest for me. my oldest was 3 which was a good age but it was hard to get back on a routine. now I'm pregnant with my 5th and it's been easy after that second one

Depends on the person. If you think you can do it then go for it. I can easily handle two kids and I know I'll be able to handle a 5/6 yr old boy and my baby when I have one
