Chemical/miscarriage... rude dr. rant!!!

Alaina

In my I got my BFP, I noticed that soon after my symptoms were fading off so the next week I got blood work done.. my first blood test my hcg was at 101 (tuesday), by the next day it had dropped to 93(wednesday), and by the third day it was at 63(thursday). I have been seeing a nurse practitioner, I explained to her that this really set back emotionally and she told me that "it was all false positives and considered a chemical pregnancy which isn't a real pregnancy, to think of myself as never pregnant because I never was". From my understanding a chemical is in fact a pregnancy it just isn't viable and just a very early miscarriage. She was incredibly short, insensitive, and knows we've been trying for over a year. Saturday came I still wasn't bleeding but I kept blacking out, getting dizzy, and throwing up repeatedly. My husband took me to the Er where my hcg levels had hit 20, they told me that it was in fact a real pregnancy it just wasn't a viable one, incredibly kind, reassuring, and very respectful of my feelings. A month later my doctor called me in to do a pelvic exam to make sure I passed all of my uterine lining, she then told me her supervisor told her that it was a true pregnancy and a pregnancy loss, she also bragged to me that she was 9 months pregnant and due any day, and it only took her 2 months to conceive, and she has no idea why its taking me so long. I just felt she was incredibly rude, not thorough, and disrespectful. I'm switching doctors now because I can not stand this woman anymore! Anyways, that is my rant, my baby was real, and I have every right to grieve my loss...
