I'm 22 and pregnant with my first child so to me everything has to be special. He has three other children from a previous relationship so I really don't think he's excited as I am . He did come to the emergency room with me when I found out I was pregnant but hasn't been to any of my doctor visits . I had one Friday but he had his three other children so he couldn't come . He hasn't even told them I was pregnant yet . We got into a pretty heated argument and we both said some horrible things to each other . Then he tells me we just don't see eye to eye , we have to split up . It's pretty hard not to talk to him because he is my child's father. I have another doctors appointment next week so I asked him would he come . He told me he had to focus on work . I've been texting him about baby shower ideas and telling him that we should work it out . But he hasn't given a response. I'm just tired of crying during my pregnancy. I really want him to be there for the pregnancy . This is my first child . Him and I have both made mistakes in this relationship. I just want things to work. Should I just stop texting him about the baby and doctor appointments? Or should I keep trying to make this work?
