What is the earliest DPO you can take a pregnancy test?

Ladies, I had a positive OPK today and we BDed. We also BDed yesterday and will tomorrow. 
My sister's birthday is Friday (5 DPO) and we are supposed to go to a beer fest Saturday (6 DPO). I want to partake if I'm not pregnant, but if I AM pregnant, will it show up on a pregnancy test yet? Nervous.

I could be wrong but a positive pregnancy test only occurs after implantation - so when the fertilised egg attaches to you. Right? So if no positive pregnancy test, even if your egg did get fertilised (fingers crossed!) it's not attached to you yet, therefore not receiving anything that you eat or drink?
Don't go crazy but I imagine a few drinks will be fine.

You should be fine to partake in moderation. The placenta is what passes nutrients to baby, and doesn't grow till after implantation. So the baby isn't drinking what you are until it implants and the placenta grows. But overdoing it can affect implantation

You will not know 6 dpo. 8 is the earliest I have heard. Positive opk means u will ovulate within 12-48 hours (depending on which one you use). It is your choice, I would be cautious but that's just me!
