To continue testing or not?

So I have been testing for the last 3 days. I started this at 8dpo. I had an appointment with my endo today to check my thyroid levels. I asked that they run an hcg just to be on the safe side. I have 3 more days until AF and am debating with myself if I want to continue testing. My endo was supposed to call if the test was positive. With no call I think I'm out this month. Your opinion please?
