Yes. I'd tell the parents just like "I think your kid took that banana, i don't want you guys to get in trouble or anything! Just thought I'd mention it"

I'd say something to their parents. Not everyone want you correcting their child. And some parents won't believe you now that I think about.

I wouldn't say anything to the child, I'd feel really bad if I did. I may something to the parent depending on if she saw it happen or not. If she saw it and let him/her just take it, I would report it to the store. If she didn't see it, I would be like "I think your son/daughter might have grabbed something. I was just wanting to make sure you knew." Or something along those lines.

It depends. I lived in a poor part of Toronto for my freshman year of high school and I would see kids shop lift necessities and never said anything but if it's a well off child I'd tell their parent or the store
