Do you recommend vegan pregnancies?

I'm thinking about going vegan. I'm roughly 9 weeks pregnant and I'm so interested in going vegan. What do you all recommend?

I've been vegan since the beginning of the year, vegetarian since childhood. I'm 6 weeks pregnant now and was worrying about my pregnancy and veganism.
When I saw my doctor he just asked me if I get a balanced diet, if I take supplements, and if I would like to see a nutritionist, or am I happy with the research I've done myself. 😁
I am healthy. I have a good BMI. I get enough protein. And now I'm taking vegan antenatal supplements to ensure I still get everything that the baby and I need.☺️
If you research properly, and eat proper, balanced, healthy meals, you should be fine.
Just don't do what my friend done and think it's ok to live off of lettuce and cucumber 😣 that is not healthy and you will become ill!😞
There are loads of really good YouTube channels for avid veganism if you wanted more info that easy to follow xx

i wouldn't necessarily recommend going vegan while pregnant because going vegan takes a lot of work in the beginning (if you go overnight) and it will be extremely difficult with pregnancy cravings and such, but i think after you have your baby it might be a bit easier to get started. either way, good luck if you do decide to go vegan! it's amazing and i love this lifestyle and congrats!
