Bassinet or crib?

Question

Will it be okay to put a newborn in a crib to sleep? Or should I start off with a bassinet?

We are starting with the crib!

I used a bassinet with all my little ones, only because it was more convenient for me. Easier to move and you could use it as a rocker(the brand I have). So I could rock them back to sleep sometimes without getting out of bed and feeling my way through dimly lit rooms.

I used a pack n play set, then moved to crib. I still use the pan n play for naps. Bassinets just seen like a waste cause babies grow out of them so quickly.

We did a rock and play then moved to a pack and play. She will go to crib at 1 yr in her room.
