Braxton Hicks?

I am 30 + 3 days pregnant and I think I am having Braxton Hicks. This is my first pregnancy so I am not sure. I am having breath taking cramping in pelvic and lower back  that last for a minute every 10 minutes. Should I be concerned or is this normal?

I ended up going to the hospital. I am in pre-term labor right now. I was having real contractions, 3 cm dilated and fully effaced. They ended up Careflighting me to Big Baylor hospital.

BH contractions shouldn't hurt. They're annoying and uncomfortable but shouldn't feel like cramps or painful. Your whole belly will get hard as a rock but don't last long. They come and go, and usually go away if you change positions or drink more water. I'd go get checked to make sure everything is ok.

I started having contractions early on in my pregnancy, 20 weeks. Now I just have Braxton hicks, which was scary because I really couldn't tell the difference at first... so basically to help differentiate what's serious and what is not, my dr told me that once they become painful I should go to the hospital. If you're experiencing pain, better safe than sorry. Call the on call OB or go to the hospital. If nothing's wrong they'll monitor you for a couple hours and send you home with more info on what to look out for. Good luck! Keep us updated❤️

I ended up in the hospital 3 times with my first with Braxton hicks. If your stomach is getting hard and then soft when they stop that's exactly what it is. If your unable to walk or talk during them they say to go in. Braxton hicks are irregular, so if they arnt getting closer together in time and arnt getting worse pain wise just try and lay down and relax and drink some water. Just time them and give the doc a call if your too concerned 😘

It wouldn't hurt to go to the hospital to make sure everything is ok. I would. I think I went like 10 times my first pregnancy and I thought I was crazy afterwards and over dramatic but every trip you make there and baby still isn't ready to comes is completely okay.... if it's hurts that bad go.
