hi everyone! i was just curious what your experiences were/are with the copper IUD. i can't use any kind of contraception that messes with your hormones, so i'm interested in this instead. if you have/had one, tell me about it!

right now i'm using condoms with spermicidal lube faithfully, as well as pulling out carefully before my bf ejaculates. i feel like i'm being pretty dang safe, but another method might make me feel better.

so the copper iud: is insertion painful? what about removal?

what side effects did you experience?

did it ever come dislodged or fail for you?
