I had a cyst
I was 12 weeks when I discovered. My first scan. I thought was another baby. And the the doctor told me I had a 8cm cyst and I need to wait until 16 weeks for another scan.
With 16 weeks I came back I was very happy that day I thought I will see the sex of the baby and was not worry about the cyst. So the doctor told me that the cyst now was 10 cm and suggested to do a surgery to remove. I was devastated.. was crying for 2 days. So afraid with all the possibilities. And than my husband and I decided to do it!
I was 17 weeks and 4 days.
They did a spinal anestetic. I was awake all time. They opened like a Cesarian section took the cyst out. I was lucky I got a excellent doctor an the team that did the surgery was really good. And an hour later I was back to my room. And the midwife came to check my temperature, presser, heart beat, and the baby's heart beat!
The baby was fine!
After the surgery the first day is easy. I didn't feel anything for 6 hours. After that I needed to star with the Pain killers.
All the team in the hospital was very professional!
I came back home 2 days after the the surgery! Was fine and didn't want to stay in the hospital anymore.
Sometimes I fell like my tommy is going to burst. I have lots of gases. And it's very painful. The midwifes gave me medicine to go to the bathroom. Wow! That's was amazing!
Today is the 4th day after the surgery
It's still hard to get up and sit down. I needed to came back to take the pain killers because was very painful.
But I'm keeping strong!
