why is AF so bad?

Does anyone else have a heavy period every cycle? I have to sleep (if I can) with two yes TWO towels. 3-4 pads in order not to bleed through everything. sometimes I still do. does anyone else have this issue? I can't take it anymore!! yes I have PCOS but that shouldn't have anything to do with it right?
