EBF sleeping 7 hours, is that okay??

Question

Silly question. But for my milk supply is it ok that I've gone 7 hours between feeds? My son is going to bed at 7p so I could easily pump before I go to bed. Should I? He's only 13 weeks but is over 13lb and has steadily gained weight/made dirty diapers. I'm just worried about my future milk supply

Yah might as well pump! :) I can't imagine if I didn't nurse or pump for 7 hours !!! My boobs would be rock hard & ache , so yah I would recommend pumping

If you pump you're telling your body you need more milk and will keep making it and you'll always feel full during that time. If you don't pump your body will eventually regulate and won't make that extra amount when you don't need it so you won't feel like you're about to burst! So I say don't pump, unless you're looking to save extra.

Following! My LO went 9 hours yesterday and is 12 weeks. I pumped in between but there was about 6 hours of no pumping/feeding.

My daughter sleeps about 9-10 hours at night and I don't pump until right when I get up. It is uncomfortable but worth it for the sleep! My daughter is 97th percentile so she's not starving by any means haha my supply is fine, too! I wouldn't worry about it!

When my baby first started sleeping through the night, I would wake up to my shirt being soaked. Now that my body is used to going 8-10 hours at night, I don't leak! I'm definitely full in the morning when I wake up, but it's not uncomfortable. I only pump when I'm away from baby.

My son also sleeps between 8-10 hours every night. I pump to be able to save it for later

My son sleeps about 9 hrs straight and I did have to pump when he first started sleeping through but now I've adjusted and don't need to. Never had any issues with supply.

I don't pump between feeds and I've never had supply issues.
