Big baby?!

This is the result from my ultrasound on Friday. I know my doctor said nothing to worry about, but does anyone have any insight why baby's abdominal circumference could be that far ahead?

ultrasounds are not very accurate. They are plus or minus 2 pounds! the most accurate determinant of due date is the initial ultrasound in the first trimester, from there, babies grow at their own rate.

My baby was measuring ahead around 16 weeks and then confirmed again at 20 weeks anatomy scan then co firmed again at my 31 weeks scan! It's not always 100% but it happens : ) my little one is about a week  ahead some days. If I find out more I'll let you know

Do you have gestational diabetes? Sometimes the baby's belly will get larger if you do. I'm sure it could be totally normal too, but I'm not sure of other reasons to cause it. Did you ask the doctor?
